Password English language tests are academically designed and managed by CRELLA (the Centre for Research in English Language Learning and Assessment).
Founded by Professor Cyril Weir OBE, CRELLA are a world-leading team of academics in testing and assessment. CRELLA’s work has been rated as world leading for the impact of their research in language assessment by the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014, the UK Government’s assessment of university research.
The Password approach involves a commitment to quality and innovation in test design, administration and validation. This approach is:

Password Maths Tests
The Password Maths test has been researched and designed by Dr. Harriet Jones, a Senior Lecturer at the University of East Anglia. Dr Jones is an expert in the transition of students from UK sixth forms and overseas study into university and the learning issues associated with this transition. She has won an award for excellence in teaching and is the author of ‘Maths for Biologists’ which tackles mathematics in a way that reflects the challenges undergraduates face.
