The Password family of online tests has been designed by leading academics in testing and assessment to balance the desire for speed, convenience and accessibility with the need for accurate and reliable test results.

Password tests are securely delivered and assessed online, and test-takers receive instant test results. Reporting facilities are outstanding, and certification (which can be co-branded) is instantly available at the click of a mouse.

There are currently five Password English language tests and one Maths test:

Password

A test of academic English language knowledge used by junior and high schools to test international students both pre- and post-arrival. CEFR* A2 - C1.

Password with Writing

Password with Writing is a combined test of academic English language knowledge and writing. CEFR A2 – C1.

Password with Reading and Writing

Password with Reading and Writing is a combined test of academic English language knowledge, reading comprehension and writing. CEFR A2 - C1.

Password Intro

A general English language knowledge test used by junior and high schools to test lower level students joining language improvement courses. CEFR A1 - B1.

Password Pupil

A version of Password Intro suitable for young learners.
CEFR A1 - B1.

Password Maths

A maths test used by high schools to assess students' mathematical knowledge. GCSE level (year 11).

Junior and high schools can co-brand and administer Password tests themselves.
